[[ OPEC has been unusually effective as of late. ]] I don't believe any of the OPEC cut numbers in the press. I buy what Henry Groppe said on BNN in Feb. Regarding OPEC, he said only Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Abu Dhabi actually cut production. Together they are 60% of OPEC, so whatever cuts OPEC announces, you take 60% of that, and you have your actual cuts. The rest of the countries produce all they can, all the time. Any press to the contrary is BS. (I suppose some of the other countries might cut a bit, but it's just noise IMHO.) watch.bnn.ca watch.bnn.ca watch.bnn.ca I bought back the CNQ and SU I sold yesterday for a discount of $4750. Good thing I got up early. They didn't stay negative for long.
