Barrons (10-27-97) MW3 refers to AMAT losing over 18 during the past 2 wks. "Don't weep for Applied shareholders, however. Their stock is still up 85% for the year." Isn't this last statement somewhat irresponsible? It depends when/price AMAT was bought (I'm showing a loss at this time). OK, I'll weep for myself.
