Too many kids are allowed to be disruptive in class. They are allowed because teachers are afraid. I had a kid who respected the hell out of me and made sure all his friends treated me with respect. Really liked the kid.....turns out he was a major gang leader in the neighborhood. I had no idea. You often don't know with whom you are dealing, and if they take a dislike to you, you can be in some serious trouble.
