No that won't. Unions are in it for themselves. That's what they're supposed to do. They want tenure and a higher salary floor.

Did you know that for nine months of work, teachers in the LA Unified School District earn over $60K/year in pay, plus no deductible health care, plus pension that lasts for life? And they also have tenure.

If the kids are not there to learn, then yes, kick them out.

There are many, many kids who do want to learn, and the school has to do everything possible to create a good learning environment for them.
