Haven't you figured out yet that putting them on 1/4 of our roofs and parking lots will provide all we need? Rat you know nothing about how they work. The roof top units do not have the voltage needed, they will not power plants that need higer voltage and current, to convert the power to AC and step up the voltage would use up more power and hardware than its worth. Yes it may go a long way but you will still need to burn natural gas and oil. Also you will need coal to make steel as it won't be steel without the carbon from the coal.
