Thousands of teachers in the LA Unified School District got warnings that they could be laid off. That sparked a sit-in protest in one of the school board meetings by some of those teachers.

If only the state could repeal Prop. 13, get rid of the 2/3 supermajority requirement for budgets, and raise taxes to meet their flagrant spending, none of this would be happening, AMIRITE?
