Other than the rather obvious fact that fundamentals of economics absolutely prove it, I guess you have a point.

If it costs $1 to hire an employee, business will be more apt to hire him than if it costs $1.25 or $1.50.

The policy of FDR -- unemployment taxes, Social Security, forced unionization, and a whole host of other anti-business provisions -- did precisely this.

There is zero doubt that had the cost of hiring employees stayed the same or been reduced, the recovery would have happened sooner.

Again, Henry Morgenthau himself said it. You have to stop bashing business if you want to recover the economy.
