You simply cannot arbitrarily pick a couple of factors and make sense of it. Anyone who would suggest the Canadian health care system is anywhere near that in the US is just not informed. Hell, the guy who essentially invented Canada's socialized health care has said it is an abject failure. The same is true of the Brits and pretty much all the rest. And they would ALL be worse off if we weren't subsidizing them.
