50 cents per barrel of oil would be disastrous in the short or mid term. I want oil to sell at $300 per barrel the next 20 years. Then, demand destruction will reach a permanent turning point. Probably much sooner than that, I'd imagine.

Can you imagine a poor Middle East? One where Islamic terrorists don't get a whole lot of funding? I can and I like the idea.

Can you imagine a rich US that invented most of the new energy sources the world uses and one where we own most of the patents and royalties from those patents? I can and I like the idea.
