Could be, I'm not an expert. Just summarizing and regurgitating 100 studies I've read over the years.

Sorry to hear about your diabetes problem. But for most folks isn't it lifestyle not genetics? There is a huge increase in diabetes and unless our DNA went haywire it seems like it's personal decisions.
