From a technical stand point... It seems the old time search engine companies (Verity & Fulcrum) aren't doing so well since the WWW explosion. My guess is that since the delivering product information over the web (in html) and the prevalence of free search/index engines has for HTML has ganined momentum, Verity's products are less needed. Verity stuff is full of cool bells and whistles and is the only engine besides Fulcrum that searches pdf, Word, Postscript, database formats, blah, blah ...as well as HTML. It's very cumbersome though and is quite expensive. hmmmm I wish I had some idea what there marekting strategy is... L
