thanks for the words MM. I can't believe this, but I'm catching a weak wireless signal on my computer up here at the cabin. I've been spending at least two nights a week here, skiing by day, watching movies and reading by night.

I have to leave my computer on the bar, and can't move it. If I do I lose the signal. I have no idea where its coming from, but I'll take it. It's just called "HOME". No one I know here has Internet and barely anyone even has Cable TV. Most folks here are poor, on disability or work at low paying jobs. It's the kind of place people with little money live because it's so cheap. The last guy who ran a cable TV company here went out of business because he couldn't get enough customers. I barely get a cell signal let alone an Internet signal............so I'm quite shocked.

I went in to the VZ store the other day to see if I could get one of those boosters for my lap top. The guy looked at a map and said we don't have service here. Duh.......I thought. I can catch a very weak cell signal if I go out on the porch, put the phone on the railing in one particular spot and don't move it. 1/2 the time that doesn't work, so catching this Internet signal has me baffled.

I am surrounded by mts and most signals just bounce off of them and head out to space.

Anyway..........I've been having a blast skiing. I intend to keep doing it as much as possible before the season comes to a close in about a month.
