Tim, I actually predicted this on the Compuserve deal, saying a lot of them would bet on the AOL takeover with their feet. The truth is, I think the Internet only appeals to certain types of people and not to the vast majority of Americans. It will grow, but more in line with the growth of its demographic group that with penetration of new users, IMHO. The simple fact is, the guy whose VCR is still flashing "12:00" is not going to buy a pc or get involved in the net unless it becomes infinitely simpler than it is today. And Internet is the key to future growth of the pc industry. MB
