SEC to meet April 8 on short sale price tests Fri Mar 13, 2009 5:09pm EDT WASHINGTON, March 13 (Reuters) - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said on Friday it will meet on April 8 to consider whether to propose short sale price test rules. The SEC issued its agenda for the meeting, but did not provide more details on what it might propose. SEC Chairman Mary Schapiro said this week that the agency aims to issue a proposal in April to restore the so-called "uptick rule."
