The reversal of progress occurred when Roosevelt ceased what was working and tried conservative calls to end deficit spending and balance the budget in 1937. The reversal of the progress happened when money was tightened, and in the aftermath of FDR's policies to increase the power of organized labor. Nope. Its when spending was reduced at the encouragement/insistent yelling by conservatives and some Dems and the country balanced its budget. A very logical development.
