It occurs to me that AIG is a much bigger scam than Madoff- The number bandied about for Madoff was $50 Billion but that number includes 30 years of non-existant profits. on the other hand the US treasury has already shoveled out $160 billion of real money on behalf of AIG and this has probably received 1/50 th of the media attention that Madoff has gotten. I wonder why? Geithner and Bernanke are really coming across as incompetent and irresponsible.
