yeah right. all these guys are making millions of dollars but they never had a clue. I just cant get over my disgust that congress procrastinated for years about giving $75 million to repair the levees protecting new orleans but willy nilly authorizing $160 billion without a clue as to whether its really necessary. there were 130 million individual tax returns filed. assuming that 100 million actually pay taxes that would work out to a subsidy to aig creditors of $1,600 per taxpayer so far. thats properly higher than the average annual savings of most families.
