Did you happen to catch our Fed Chairman on 60 Mins tonight?

This is the most astonishing economic recovery in history. A month ago our country was on the brink of bankruptcy. Worse than the Carter Recession, could be as bad as the 30s. We could see massive bank failures around the country.

WE MUST SPEND TRILLIONS! WE MUST SOCIALIZE MEDICINE! WE MUST EXTEND UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS AND BUY FREE HEALTH CARE FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T AFFORD IT! EMERGENCY! GET OUT OF THE WAY OR GET RUN OVER!

Now, weeks later, the bill is passed, new social programs abound (still in the planning stages, mind you -- nothing has been done that could have ACTUALLY affected the economy).

And all is well. Obama tells us it isn't so bad as that. Citibank's making money. GM doesn't need any.

Now, the Fed Chairman is on TV saying, "Had we not had the [Bush] TARP program, the banking system would have melted down. But now, we're saved".

It is really all too much. Obviously, the Left will want to credit Obomber with the "recovery", even though nothing he has done has yet to be implemented. And I guess those are the spoils of victory.

But the lies are just unforgivable. These people have misled the nation. They have enacted legislation that will insure our inability to survive as a nation (as we add trillions in new debt in the near term, and tens of trillions in future years).

It is utterly pathetic what these liberals have done.
