I suspect that JXN will tend to live within his means based on a similar premise. Are you serious? JXN has known nothing but abundance, has everything he could ever want - original, first hand, brand new, top of the line - and a choice of eating whatever he wants. I guess I never explained what it was like growing up during the war and its after effects. I never had a new anything - it was all hand-me-downs. We never had a choice of what we'd like to eat - you ate what was set in front of you - or else!! The first NEW dress I had was when I was 16 and bought it myself from my babysitting money. I got a pair of PJs from my Minnesota grandparents that had to last all year. I could go on and on. Maybe you and I have a different concept of what "greed" really means.
