Surely Americans didn't take "Mad Money" and "Fast Money" seriously? Sure, it's interesting and fun to watch, but it's like watching porn = people shouldn't confuse it with marriage. Look at the names - "Mad" Money. "Fast" Money. That is like writing "Do not take this seriously".

Now Jon Stewart will have to laugh at everyone taking it so seriously. Or, he should laugh at himself for thinking that TV is anything other than entertainment or maybe a hint to take an actual closer look at something.

When Barack gets up on the stage with columns, lighting and music, it's entertainment. He's an actor. People should not be surprised if what he says doesn't turn out to totally match reality when the party is over and the next day dawns and life is prosaic and parking meters demand cash and trash awaits disposal and the gas tank needs refilling to go and buy more groceries.
