The tooth extraction on March 13 went okay. Well, the part involving a chisel and hammer may have been a little unnerving. I had prescription pain pills but only needed an Advil the first night. Two days later, I was pretty much back to normal. It was determined I need a bone graft, which will be done along with the metal post implant on April 2. A local anesthesia is being used for all the procedures, but I have two friends who went thru the same thing and were totally knocked out.

Later a crown will be attached to the metal post implant. Total cost for all of this is estimated at around $4500.

Do me a favor and let me know how that works for you. I'm having some implants done in a couple of weeks.....
