According to reports in the other CMTR thread, their HIV test is expected to be approved this month or next. Though approval of the test might move the stock on hype, don't expect it to add much to their bottom line in the near future. Their best bet at profitability in the near term is their H. pylori test.

ChemTrak's HIV test is one in which the sample is taken in the home, but must be mailed to ChemTrak for analysis. It's not a quick test, like the ones offered by SALV and Tinity. But, for various social/political reasons, the FDA will probably not approve a home-based quick test for HIV anytime in the near future. That leaves the home HIV test that was already approved for J&J (and then spun off to another company when they canned the developer) and ChemTrak's. I don't know of any other tests in the pipeline that are awaiting for approval anytime in the near future.
