This, of course, isn't true. I've frequently said I think of a lot of Chris Hitchens but he doesn't like Bush. I really like Pat Buchanan yet he has heavily criticized Bush and the Iraq War (although, I must say, his near-chronic kissing of Obama's ass has started to bother me). I think liberals are generally stupid people. So when I find one of reasonable intellect I'm always pleased to see it.

Ron Silver continued to be a liberal. Your suggestion that no liberal could support the war is borne of ignorance. The fact is that almost ALL liberals supported the war until it got tough. That includes Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Ron Silver, Thomas Friedman and just about every other liberal you can name other than the extremists and socialists.
