<<Brooks fiber and MFS are not LD. This would give ATT local access in high margin areas not to mention UUNet and ANS..instant worldwide internet provider. Of course ATT would instantly expand their international networks with WCOM. Sounds like a good fit to me. Remember WCOMs networks are on the cutting edge HIGH bandwidth.>> You hit the nail on the head. I don't care whether ATT goes after Wcom if Wcom loses MCI. I'm just suggesting, as are many journalist (WSJ), that it makes sense. After all, Wcom did approach ATT before MCI (that wasn't just a joke, it is fact).
