I believe that I heard that Chris Dodd was pushing for some kind of a tax on the bonuses.

I don't know if we can ever get the bonus back (unless these derivatives traders choose to voluntarily give 'em up....)

I say have the CEO call them in and 'politely' suggest that things are different now... and it would be in their own best interests to give the bonuses up... because those who DON'T are going to be fired.

(Then they can see exactly how 'easy' it will be to get another 1/2 million or more a year job as a derivative trader with the letters "AIG" on their resumes.... :-)
