GS "always fully collateralized and hedged" Yes, it had people in the current administration and in the new one. Good hedging of bets. So, if AIG failed and Goldman had hedged that failure, who was going to pay Goldman Sachs? Why did the US taxpayer take on all of this burden if GS and others had insurance on AIG's failure? What? How insane is this?
