The support given to Zionism by the RW Christian movement(which i will call "evangelical" as a generalization, is simply fraught with ignorance at the bottom and corruption at the top. I came to a belief in biblical inerrancy in 1969-70. I then lived in an offshoot of Calvary Chapel, a communal organization much like a kibbutz. I left after 2 years having become discouraged over certain issues. Only later have I been able educate myself to the delusions that have blossomed in the evangelical movement. The penultimate catalyst being 911. Chuck Smith is one of the most influential Zionists in the US today. He regularly has Zionists speak to his congregation(7,000 seats in a single service) to drum up support for the ongoing genocide in Gaza and elsewhere. The Sunday following 911 he read an editorial from the Miami Herald in his evening service calling for the heads of the 911 perpetrators. When he had finished, the packed room began a wave of applause, shouts, whistles, screams of accord that went on and on....supposed Christians united in their adulation of their leader's cries for blood. Smith had the audio of that service prominently displayed on his website for years. Apparently he considers killing and murder more important than Jesus' message of love and forgiveness.

So much for "Revenge is mine" saith the LORD.

I am disgusted with the ignorance and mass deception in both the Jewish and evangelical communities. I fully expect we are headed into a period of nationalistic fascism de ja vu, circa Germany in the 30's. Those that call for peace and reconciliation will be trodden under.

Have you read this work? Absolutely riveting for such a boring piece of work. The day to day disintegration of society captured in the minutia of daily life. Same thing we see being carried out in the US today.
