I would expect grains to go down for a while. I am a farm gal from North Dakota and still have interests there. Farmers are selling what crop they need to so they can make the final payments on seed, fertilizer, gas and cash rent. Most of this is due at the end of October. For this reason the supply should out strip demand on future contracts. Most wise farmers will only sell what they need to and will hold out for high prices. Also the crop in the Red River Valley was good this year and they will hope for unanticipated demand from overseas. Just some of my thoughts.
