...me thinks an acqusistion of ASND by BAY would be the best thing they could ever do.. get them a nice presence in the fast growing WAN space...20 billion mrkt cap...end to end...to much of a tie to the LAN currently... COMS...has tremendous issues for years to come... (If INTC relizes no one is buying the P2 in quantity don't you think they will be more aggressive in lateral spaces...can you say "we own the motherboard?, What should we add on next?, maybe NIC's?, modems?" ......hmmmmm as MSFT adds to the O.S. INTC adds to the motherboard..hmmmmm CSCO -- ahead of plan in every group from all I can gather...convergance of Telecom & Datacom will benifit them more than anybody else in these spaces...peace
