We keep hearing Geithner has no help...How many people are employed by the actual Treasury Department? Are NONE of them capable to off-load the Treasury Secretary to free him to just work on the financial problems we have, and more that the Democrats are causing?

Has anyone thought of that?

Obama seems not to have thought that far ahead....

In a private business that has to lay off people, the business has to hope that others can take up the slack....In many cases, the employees are doing their job and at least one or two others.... just to keep their job.

Probably the Government employees never have thought of that concept....

Edit: Just looked at Wiki....Employees 115,897 (2007)

Surely there is SOMEONE in all those employees in at least some of the various Departments that can help to offload The Treasury Secretary.
