Emanuel's response was actually far from hot-headed; he even asked to come to the gang's first meeting.

"I think we have an ally in the White House who's going to help us strike the right balance," Bayh said.

Never let a crisis go to waste Rham, an ally? This group of 15 can't be that naive can they? I'm sure he'd love to attend the meeting, so he can immediately start working against any goals they might have.
