The DJIA first closed above 10,000 on March 29, 1999. We are coming up on the anniversary in about a week! I wonder if AC Flyer will show up? <g>

For most of the past ten years I've been predicting DTTFTY, i.e. "Dow Ten Thousand for Ten Years". It's now crashed to around 7K, but the 10 year moving average is slightly above 10K so I'm declaring victory for my prediction.

What now? My gut hunch is DSTFSMY, i.e. "Dow Seven Thousand for Seven More Years". That would sure break a lot of hearts!

Time will tell.
