Again you've changed the subject...i thought we were talking about the financial system bailout which is what Z and I exchanged a few posts about. But anyway, from your own article below...see, you hang to a minority view and say that I am full of it...all these conservative economists are suddenly concerned about debt but argued for tax cuts and war spending that doubled the national debt while people who share their ideology were in power...and are still arguing for tax cuts now. I am definitely opposed to deficit spending, but I am also willing to pay higher taxes to reduce it.

There is no doubt these are minority views. Most lawmakers, economists and policymakers say the economy desperately needs a massive infusion of money to prevent collapse — and needs it now. The Obama administration, backed by many economists, says unemployment could easily top 10 percent and the gross domestic product could tank absent government intervention.
