While both you and Rambi are exchanging your views, this topic is of interest to me also. Yes indeed we have had great women leaders including Hillary who, in my opinion exceeded the performance of her husband, by being very meticulous and diligent in whatever she did as first lady (health care in 1993) and as Senator. Then we have Mrs. Bhutto who had to be shamelessly assassinated to stop her from gaining the political ascendancy in her country. The same with Mrs. Indira Gandhi etc.

But let us not forget about our dear "Joe", the Amtrackman, who became visibly emotional during the VP debate when it came to his single parenting after the tragic death of his first wife. I think we all need to take pride in coming of age where not only we have elected a President of color for the first time but have also managed to blur the lines of distinction based on gender.
