unfortunately, for reasons i cannot say, stayed in the metropole. one acre. but it goes a long way actually.

also spending a lot of time on wood fired oven concepts... in case there is no grid. plus they make lovely food. will trade in a bit of gold for something productive. <g>

as soon as mr. O gets his shit together on solar and the chinese start real mass production and dropping prices.. will convert house to a solar monstrosity. was already in the building plan. pre wired and all that. also have a 400 foot deep water well.

so far, i'm not behind schedule as it turns out. very timely all things considered.

i make soil out of tree mulch. good stuff only. tree man brings it for free. he saves money from dump fees, charges extra for hauling it off, and gives it to me. a true dear friend, one might say.

of course when i started all this, everyone thought i was a loon.

now they look very thoughtful. (fuck them)
