That's not a story I have heard.

I have posted on SI about the doctor who became infected after being a good samaritan and helping a illegal alien who was in a car accident.

Doctor had open cuts from doing yard work----he and his wife were on the way to a social function. He could have not stopped but being a professional when the accident occurred he couldn't pass by----instead he stopped and helped-----he became infected via the blood exchange as he was working ungloved.

The doctor became infected not even recognizing what he had, the doctor finally had a light bulb experience. News from Hopkins came of the man he had helped that the man was at Hopkins and had died of AIDS. That prompted a test and the doc was positive and died.

When that case broke-----dentists, doctors began to wear gloves constantly in the D.C. area. That was in the 1980's.

Our blood supply was in danger as many gays were donating blood; there was no screening before this case broke and I am sure other cases had an impact.

One of the things that needs to happen is for the black women of D.C. to get angry-------their men are bisexual, pass it to their wives and ultimately to the new born children.

An extreme solution----would be to isolate these infected men who persist in aberant dual behavior and transport these men to Kauai, one of the Hawaiian Islands which had the valley of the lepers, deny entrance of anyone coming into the USA who is HIV positive.
