Thank you, David, for providing the links to specific articles detailing recent oil company agreements at the PRE-PROVEN stage. Perhaps this will put to rest the argument that no oil company is going to do a deal until the "potential" reserves are "proven."

I also agree with your point about the relative attractiveness of an on land concession vs. an offshore one.
