i agree with you in placing some blame on clinton admin for 9/11. So why dont you cut OB a break over economy catastrophe he inherited?

Yes, Obama inherited an economic crisis but it wasn't a crisis created by the previous administration as the liberals are claiming. There are multiple causes but none of them can be laid at Bush's feet as so many want to do.

Why not give Obama a break? I was open minded to Obama until he ran through the Oval Office like a bull in a china shop with a cloud of hubris second to none.

Michael, it is totally incompetent for this man to have proposed a budget with these massive, systemic government spending increases at this time. No reasonable person would suggest it. Socialized medicine? "Green" energy?

Obama had his mind made up that he had a socialist agenda and he wasn't going to allow a bad economy to get in the way. But the result is that instead of making constructive improvements in the economy, he is pursuing socialist policy which will only further drag us down. It is pure selfishness. He doesn't want to miss his big opportunity as president, so instead of doing what the nation needs, he is pursuing an agenda which will only further drag us down -- because that's what he planned before last September.

I gave reagan a pass on recession that began his presidency. You could blame lbj, nixon, ford and carter policies for that one.

I am not one to blame the economy on presidents. Hell, I don't even blame Hoover for the Depression. I do believe FDR's actions prolonged it by making it more difficult for employers to begin rehiring employees.

Honestly, our economy is doomed anyway by SS and Medicare, and the Obama deficits of $10 Trillion will only hasten its permanent demise. I'm much more concerned about his incompetent foreign policy and homeland security at this time which leaves us exposed to another attack which could kill millions of Americans.
