I think it's nearly impossible for any President to learn, except as he is forced to by events clubbing him over the head with a 2 x 4. Learning takes reflection, and Presidents simply have no time for reflection. What you get in the Presidency are the reactions that the guy brings to the job. Problem with the Omessiah is that he's looked into that reflecting pool all his adult (?) life and saw nothing but perfection, paved and gilded by affirmative action. Now he sees ripples in the perfect, smooth, entitlement pool, and he can't cope. Consider and compare the classic quotes by his number one hatchet (Rahmbo) "Never let a crises go to waste" to the greatest showman, con man, circus man, P.T. Barnum: "Never give a sucker an even break."
