JJ: No inside info - just called Dave Derico (investor relations)
and got the info from him. A short is basically selling a share without
owning it, then buying it back at a later date at a price less than what
you paid for it. With penny stocks, it is difficult for the average investor
to tell whether a stock is being shorted, so I don't know about ISGI. A
corporation official would be in a position to identify a short position. In
NPEC's case, I learned of the large short position from Dave.

It (the large short position) is significient because at some point these
people must buy back the share they sold (called covering their shorts).
When a large short positon begins to be covered, and the price begins to
rise, there is sometimes a panic to cover resulting in a 'short squeeze".

this sometimes drive the share price up dramatically in a small amount of
time.
