Steve: I think most folks were offended by his lack of knowledge
regarding the business..."bulbs" ? He was fortunate to be shorting
the tech board when the selective correction hit the sector. The
semi downgrade is rather dubious as it appears it was partially
initiated on "selective" information and speculation on the Asian
currencies. I noticed with many of the "blue chips" supposedly
vulnerable to the asian currency instability, the same call was
made, then overlooked, made again and discounted. It all seems to
depend on where and how deep they want to cut.

Good Morning..

Bruce

In regard to shorting the box companies being smart? I read CPQs
earnings and projections. I think that they are very good. Why are
they good to short? I think some people pick high rolling, big profit
stocks as targets, because they can't believe any company can do
so well without stumbling. Overall markt conditions are they only
thing saving his ass if he continues short in the Big boxes...especially CPQ. Dell may not be doing quite as well as it's
price reflects. However it is popular....that can go a long , long
way.
