OT/ The Norton Simon is one of my favorite museums. You can get closer to the art than almost anywhere.

If you do a quick walk through of the contemperary paintings (on the left side, I think) and then ask your self - "Which paintings were done by crazy people ?" The Van Gough immedaitely leaps to mind. Printed and web pictures to not begin to capture how lurid and intense the colors.

Not something I would want in my house. Van Gough was really hurting.

I also really like the LA County museum of art, LACMA.

What area of LA do you live in ?

Back in 2002-2005 the traffic was almost impossible in the afternoons.
