There is definitely a desire to fix the broken system instead
of keeping running bubbles, and the fix will not be easy.
A desire to work hard instead of a path of speculation to
"prosperity". This was not the case before. Under W already broken SS funds
almost got stolen by WS to "invest" in bubbles and push the
stock market higher. Imagine if that ever happened.

Yes, the risk of monetary policy systemic failure is out there.
There will be much more pain as the shift from speculation
to production is being implemented. How much is the question.
We are going throught the age of frugality. Not paying so
much attention to the level of the DOW would be another
plus. It will bottom somewhere. My bet is CNBC will be gone
before the age of frugality is over. Perhaps, this will
be my buy signal to shift from the gold market back into
stocks. -g-
