Well, you and others seem to believe that by turning health care over to the government you're somehow going to get better value than the markets can produce.

"The market" are not in control of health care. Having employers, with their myriad of different interests, in the middle of the payment system is more dysfunctional from a free market perspective than having the government running the payment system.

And yes I've said here many times that single payer is the only viable solution. If we could actually get to a free market from here then that would be great. But we can't. And we have to lower costs. No choice at all.
