Good for you, you have a job and are covered for $14,400.00 premium per year and rising with age. What about the rest, pay check to pay check, laid off, let go, fired, fresh out of school etc..the great America, can't help it's citizens with health care as it does with social security pensions?

Yeah, Social Security pensions. That was a good idea. We're in debt by $12-15 Trillion today because of those pensions on a trajectory that will end with the collapse of our country. A debt most Americans don't even know exists.

Our homeless and indigent in this country receive health care that is as good as much of what Canada provides. A sick, broke homeless person can walk into a state Medicaid office anywhere in America and receive an insurance card that gives him free care at any provider, hospital, or office in America. In most states, the same day. If he is emergency critical, he doesn't have to wait. Any ER in the country will treat him instantly.
