I can tell you how we liberals would deal with it. How would you libertarins.?

You love specifics John, so let us see some specifics.

If you don't like an idea, you must have a better idea. That is how it works.

I know you are a very decent and intelligent human being and call you my friend.

So here is the paradigm:

25% unemployment. People living out in the cold and standing in lines begging for food or at the back door of someones house. Children freightened and cold and hungry.

Mom and dad's cannot feed their children or keep the lights and heat on, or even find sheltor from the cold.

Worry, worry, worry. That is the reality.

Tell me please. I am always willing to throw out a bad idea for a better one.

I am not married to any philosophy or set of facts. YOu know that much about me.

But I will defend compassion, kindness and empathy to my dying day. That is the one truth I will never desert.
