"Well, John what was Hyaks (sic?) solution to the starving poor during a depression. You tell me.

I can tell you how we liberals would deal with it. How would you libertarins.?

You love specifics John, so let us see some specifics."

If you want to read about _Friedrich Hayek_, go ahead. He was a fascinating Nobel-winner. His work was not only in economics, but also in social organization and philosophy. His ideas lead to neuro-networks in the field of computer science, amongst other things.

You make a straw-man argument (again). I didn't reference Hayek, nor Libertarianism. I just told you my reaction to the various levels of "tribes" we belong to, with our respective obligations and expectations. In the main, we were agreeing. (I admit, I tweaked your beard a bit in regard to your esteemed Governor.)

We have already discussed how we will deal with the starving during a depression. We will both feed them and give to them. I seek to only give voluntarily; you seek to compel my giving. This is a significant difference, but I don't think poorly of you as a person. If you win this dispute, you will exhaust my capacity to give before you exhaust my willingness to give.
