Anyway, I think the Internet attracts many types, but it might be easier to describe the broad groups it does not attract rather than those it does. As always, there are many exceptions to the rule. If I say it attracts younger folks, some 100 year old guy will call me a liar. But, in demographics, if it is true 70 pct or more of the time, it is true. Here is my unscientific take on folks who are not likely internet lovers:
1. Older people. 12 year old computer nerds rule.
2. People with blue collar jobs.
3. Promiscuous people. Not the wannabees who look at dirty pictures, but the real deal. Those with committment and those who are afraid of the gun their girlfriends carry are more likely to try this less involved method of intercourse. -g-
4. Those who read a lot. The golly gee pictures on the net don't appeal as much to those with gray matter.
5. Technophobes.
6. Athletic people. Tennis is more fun than typing.
7. Those who aren't coerced to use the net in their workplace.
8. Non-investors.
9. Non-gameplayers.
10. Non-gossipers.
11. Rich people. They have other people do the grunt work for them.
12. Poor folks. This is an incredibly expensive toy to play with. Not as bad as skiing or golf, but pretty bad.
13. Women. This is a Man's world. Actually, more of a boy's world. Which is why there is so much rudeness.
14. Those who do not have threads named after them. -vbg-
