Because stimulus spent on investments great jobs right now and in the future. Stimulus spent on welfare checks only borrow money and give us no return on investment. Tax cuts for individuals is nothing more than borrowing money with no investment return. I'm for tax cuts for businesses and investment in worthy projects with a return. Those bring immediate and long term returns in excess of the cost of borrowing. Renewable energy is in that category.
