It wasn't the illegality, it was the life destroying addiction potential. I've had many opportunities, and several friends that have succumbed to that and other powerful, addicting drugs. I've always steered clear of physically addicting drugs, failing only with white-boy snortin' cocaine. (never free-based or tried crack) I had to move to where I knew no dealers to beat that one.
